Renewing a Florida Professional Certificate
The purpose of the Florida Educator Certification is to support the academic achievement of all students by assuring that educators are professionally qualified to provide highly effective instruction. At Miami Dade College School of Education (MDC SOE), we are steadfast in our pledge to uphold these rigorous standards. We are committed to supporting educators as they engage in lifelong learning, continuously seeking to enhance their craft for the benefit of our diverse student body.
Teacher recertification courses are offered in weekend and accelerated models.

Note: All courses in the baccalaureate degree programs are also available for recertification.
