Biography

Richard Bayes is a native Miamian who attended University of Florida/New World School of the Arts on scholarship studying French Horn.  Graduating with a BM/Performance Cum Laude, he furthered his studies at F.I.U.'s Wertheim School of Music on scholarship graduating with a MM also in performance.

Praised for his rich tones and clarity on the horn, Richard Bayes continues to cultivate a following in South Florida.  A playing member for several seasons of the Miami Lyric Opera, he also performs with MDC/Wolfson Campus bi-annual Theater productions, The Miami Wind Symphony and other local productions when his busy schedule permits.
