The Electrician program in Construction is a 1-year program designed for persons who would like to learn how to assemble, install, and maintain electrical equipment and wiring systems in residential settings.
The HVAC program in construction is a 1-year program designed for persons who would like to learn about installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling and air circulation systems. Students in this program receive instruction in safety, math, HVAC materials, theory, installation, maintenance, and other areas consistent with the HVAC trade.
The Plumber Preapprenticeship in construction is a 1-year program designed for persons who would like to learn about installing, repairing, and maintaining, pipes, valves, and drainage systems. Students in this program receive instruction in basic plumbing knowledge, safe workplace practices, proper use of plumbing and power tools, and how to install a variety of piping and plumbing fixtures.
The Teacher Assistant Program in Early Childhood Education is designed for persons who enjoy working with children and are devoted to building a nurturing and safe learning environment. This program is a career pathway that combines college coursework, mentoring, and on-the-job training to learn the key responsibilities and skills required to support teachers and help children with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom.
